Netting Workshop for Central Bank Partners

Frontclear, ISDA, ICMA, and the ISLA joined together to host four key Frontclear Sub-Saharan African central bank partners in a Netting Workshop. In attendance representatives from the Financial Markets and Legal Departments of the Bank of Uganda, Bank of Tanzania, National Bank of Rwanda, and National Bank of Ethiopia. Participants shared experiences, current developments, and targets in an open exchange, learning from the industry experts including the ISDA in particular, what a positive netting jurisdiction means to risk management and pricing in banking operations when transacting interbank as shared by SocGen, FMDQ, ABN AMRO Clearing Bank and White & Case.
